Eastern Frontier - Management Research Center

The research center is based on the concept of " Wherever the heart is , there lies management”, combined with modern management science theories and the wisdom of traditional Eastern philosophy, from the perspectives of quantum mechanics, economics, organization research, efficiency research, human nature research, etc. It is a brand-new management theory system that is in line with the current background and integrates Western logic with Eastern culture.

It realizes the compatibility and mutual growth of Chinese and Western management theories, and establishes a management theory in line with "Tao", thereby helping Chinese business leaders and managers to build a systematic decision-making thought of science and humanity, efficiency and responsibility, management and humanity, and finally, it will be implemented into business operation and management practice.

As China pursues greater globalization, the transnational management practice of enterprises needs more universal theories to guide and apply to the changing "post-epidemic era". Compared to the western management that pays more attention to the exogenous management such as methodology, the eastern management pays more attention to the endogenous management such as people's feelings. This research center will provide relevant enterprises with thinking methods and path guidance on how to extract external events, phenomena and problems, and return to the internal problems of managers -- namely, from conscious awareness to subconscious awareness, and then from subconscious constructs to adjust behavior to conscious awareness, so as to achieve the unity of knowledge and action. Moreover, with modern management tools to help improve the core competitiveness and management efficiency of enterprises, we tend to achieve the harmonious development and value symbiosis between organizations and employees.

Case Study Center

The Case Study Center is a corporate brand academic platform jointly established by UCMT and a team of industry experts to "condense corporate case stories and disseminate Chinese management practices".

The enterprise case study is the true representation of the specific management situation of the enterprise, and it is a light-weight capital in the teaching system of business administration. The specific institutional culture and the rapidly changing times have unique management practices in Chinese enterprises, which call for the emergence of oriental management innovation theories rooted in local case studies.

The Case Study Center provides general guidelines for case writing, and a research team is formed by experts and professors in related fields to carry out corporate research and case writing.

Through the case study, the enterprise management practice is summarized and researched, and the process asset of knowledge management and sharing is provided to the enterprise itself, so as to effectively help the enterprise to discover management problems, improve the operation status and enhance the core competitiveness.

Coopetition and Symbiosis Research Center

Peking University National Development Institute/BiMBA Business School and UCMT jointly established the coopetition and symbiosis research center. In the process of digitalization, the fundamental method to improve organizational efficiency and achieve high performance is "collaboration". Collaborative symbiosis refers to a dynamic process in which symbiotic units continuously and actively seek synergies to achieve organizational growth within boundaries, cross-boundary organizational growth, and system self-evolution, thereby achieving the optimal overall value.

By seeking symbiotic partners, enterprises establish a value network and create long-term value for common customers. The coopetition relationship can promote the coexistence, integration and complementation of industries in competition. By studying the connection and symbiosis between enterprises, the research center provides customers with feasible solutions for the co-opetition and symbiosis model, and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the symbiotic value network of enterprises.

The Digitalization Research Center is an academic empowerment platform based on the enterprise management change demand in the digital era.

With organizational change and management innovation as the main research topics, the research center helps enterprises to achieve technological, business and organizational transformation successfully in the digital era, and realize the optimization, innovation and restructuring of their value system. The digital transformation combines with digital technology and organizational change.
